Rumor of Blackberry 8703e from Verizon by end of August

The Internet is a 24-hour rumor mill, so it is no wonder that there are whispers making its way round cyberspace concerning the release of the Blackberry 8703e on August 28 via Verizon Wireless. The Blackberry 8703e is actually the CDMA version of the 8700 series that you can currently purchase from Cingular, T-Mobile, and CellularOne. There is no official word from Verizon, but it shares many similarities with its GSM counterpart. The 8703e is widely tipped to support EV-DO connectivity, but all that will amount to nothing until an official statement is released.
