O2 to introduce Ice handset next month

Here’s yet another device draped in the famous white color that is synonymous with an iPod – the Ice cellphone from O2. This 3G handset comes in the traditional candybar design and features Bluetooth connectivity, built-in MP3 player capabilities, and a 1.3 megaipixel camera. Word on the street is the Ice cellphone is excellent when dealing with video calls, although we’ll leave that for you owners to decide. Ice works great with O2’s Active service that provides a constant, round-the-clock stream of news and infotainment. The Ice cellphone will be available from next month onwards for around $190 with a pre-paid plan.
