Lobster 700 offers TV stream

Virgin Mobile will be offering the Lobster 700 cellphone soon if its latest catalogues are anything to go by. It takes a different path from current TV-enabled handsets as it does not stream movies via a 3G connection, instead, the Lobster 700 receives pictures and movies over DAB. At first glance, it does not make much sense to receive TV over Digital Radio, but when you dig deeper, you will realize that online radio is actually a data stream that could be used for video purposes as well. The Lobster 700 will be available in September at a yet undisclosed price.
