KDDI offers Sharp W41SH handset

KDDI customers will be able to enjoy the new CDMA handset from Sharp. The W41SH cellphone comes in a clamshell format and is available in 4 different colors. Its LCD display incorporates similar technology used in Sharp’s line of Aquos LCD TVs, providing razor sharp images. The W41SH sports a 2.6″ QVGA 262k color LCD display on the inside, while the outer display is a 1.2″ Aquos LCD TV-derived screen that shows all the essential information. Multimedia features include a 2 megapixel camera and a built-in MP3 player. Pricing details are currently unavailable. Somehow the Japanese seem to be getting all the fantastic handsets while we have to settle for measly crumbs.
