The quad-band GSM Disney D100 handset has received the stamp of approval from the almighty FCC. The D100 targets little ones who do not require over-the-top features such as a camera and Internet connectivity. Measuring just 98.7mm x 51.3mm x 24.2mm, the D100 takes the Disney approach by arranging the Answer and Reject buttons in a Mickey Mouse shape with Winnie the Pooh acting as the cellphone’s housing. The 12-button keypad is interchangeable with a 4-button one. Features include parental control support, different security features, call time limiter, and a virtual timer function. There is no word on pricing nor availability.
