FCC approves Asus P525

We have had the skinny on the Asus P525 smartphone’s specifications quite a while back, and it has just obtained approval from the FCC. If you haven’t yet imported one from Taiwan, keep your fingers crossed for a Stateside release. Expect all the usual trappings of a modern day smartphone like a 2 megapixel camera, Skype-in and Skype-out support, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, as well as push e-mail. This quad-band GSM handset is powered by the Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition operating system.
