Verizon offers Samsung SCH-A990

The new Samsung SCH-A990 is the first 3.2 megapixel camera phone to be offered by Verizon. The SCH-A990 betters its predecessor, the SCH-A970, by bumping the 2.0 megapixel camera up by an additional 1.2 megapixels. The 180-degree swivel screen remains, and it comes with an additional color unit on the front shell this time. The A990 is a fun multimedia phone, boasting video recording, V Cast music, V Cast video, Bluetooth connectivity, MP3 and video playback capabilities, as well as a microSD card slot for expansion options. Verizon is offering the SCH-A990 for $349.99 with a 2-year contract when it is released on July 24 this month.
