Verizon launches 2 new phones in September

Looks like a Verizon field report shows that both the Pantech PN-820 and LG VX9900 handsets will be launched when September 4 rolls around. The clamshell PN-820 runs on the Windows Mobile 5.0 Operating System and fuses both high-end functionality and stylish design. Unfortunately, it lacks EV-DO connectivity, a feature that ought to be compulsory in all smartphones. The LG VX9900 will succeed the VX9800, boasting a thinner, sleeker look and feel. Here’s a little trivia – both cellphones were approved by the FCC in May.
