Pantech PG-6200 boasts fingerprint technology

Pantech has released its PG-6200 cellphone, making it one of the first handsets in the world to be equipped with an integrated fingerprint reader. The PG-6200 takes after a clamshell design and boasts a 2 megapixel CMOS camera that can capture video as well at 30fps in MPEG 4 format. This cellphone can operate in EGSM 900MHz, DSS 1800MHz and PCS 1900MHz networks across Europe, North/South America, Asia-Pacific and Africa. Other features include an internal 1.9″ 262k color TFT display and an external 1.2″ 65k color TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, and a microSD memory card slot. The fingerprint recognition technology will prevent anyone from making unauthorized calls to selected numbers.
