Dopod 595 debuts in Taiwan

The first 3G smartphone from manufacturer HTC, the Breeze, has made its way to Taiwan and is now available under the Dopod 595 moniker. The Dopod 595 costs around $515 and comes with a 320 x 240 QVGA display, Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and video recording capability, and a microSD memory card slot. It is powered by the TI OMAP 850 processor, with 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM running the background work. The quadband GSM Dopod 595 smartphone measures 112.4mm x 49mm x 14.8mm and is already available in other countries since May.
