A1000 smartphone from CECT

CECT of China has released the A1000 smartphone that comes with a color TFT LCD touchscreen display that supports up to a ersolution of 240 x 320. Other features include a 4 megapixel camera, audio and video playback capabilities, and twin speakers. Pity it comes with only 32MB of internal memory that definitely won’t be enough unless you bump it up with a T-Flash memory card. It uses a miniUSB port to transfer data to and from a PC. The A1000 measures 105mm x 50mm x 18mm and weighs 100g. There is no keypad to speak of since navigation is done via the stylus/touchscreen. Pricing and availability details are unknown
