Treo 650 Black Tie Edition heralds Palm's 10th anniversary

The Treo 650 Black Tie Edition is finally out to mark Palm’s 10th anniversary. This completely unlocked smartphone comes in a smarter package and costs a whooping $600. That is rather expensive considering the hardware specs have already been usurped by the Treo 700 series. Its innards remain the same as the vanilla Treo 650, so the VGA camera, Bluetooth connectivity, SD card slot, integrated keyboard, and GSM/GPRS compatibility will be a familiar sight to many. What else do you get in the package? A Palm Hard Case with a beltclip and a multi-functional stylus pen. Its definitely not worth splurging that amount of money on an outdated device, cosmetic improvements or not.
