Sony Ericsson unveils K610im
Sony Ericsson has unveiled its first 3G phone capable of supporting i-mode, the internet-on-your-phone service pioneered by Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo and offered over here in the UK by the O2 network. Encased in black, this handset offers a 2 megapixel camera with 2.5x optical zoom at the back as well as a front-mounted camera for video calls, Bluetooth connectivity, 16MB of internal memory, and a Memory Stick Micro slot for expansion options. The 1.9″ screen offers a resolution of 176 x 220 in 262k colors. The K610im will be available in “i-mode” markets across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East in the third quarter.
