The upcoming Philips S900 cellphone will be available in Korea soon, with no affirmation of a worldwide release. The S900 looks more like a PDA than anything else, and runs on the GSM900/1800/1900 MHz networks. Weighing just 93.3g, it comes touchscreen that supports handwritten text input, a 2 megapixel camera, JAVA games, 10MB memory, a memory card slot, MP3 playback capability, IrDA and Bluetooth functionality. Pricing details are unavailable as at press time. Touchscreen ought to do well in markets where the writing system does not use Roman alphabets.
