Pantech will be manufacturing a couple of handsets for Nokia before the year is over according to a Korea Exchange filing. The devices in question are said to be camera cellphones and CDMA handsets that offer EV-DO high speed data technology. To date, a trio of Pantech devices with the Nokia brand has been approved by the FCC. Speculations abound that 2 of these approved cellphones are connected with the filing, with both the EV-DO-capable 6305i and 6315i making the cut. Another feature that is available on both phones is the megapixel camera. The entire rebranding process will cost Nokia $129 million.
