Nokia N-Gage games to be sold online

In a move that distances retailers, Nokia has opened the doors of its online shop to sell N-Gage games that are available on MMC cards. N-Gage owners can now purchase these games directly off the PC and upload them to the memory card to get going. This move looks like a stopgap measure until a method of purchasing and downloading games directly onto the handset is devised for users of N-Gage phones and future compatible devices. A hint would be the SNAP platform developed by Nokia that could be incorporated into future iterations of the N-Gage handset. Wireless carriers who are sidelined now cannot earn any income from this method.
