David Beckham is new Motorola ambassador

Add Motorola cellphones and accessories to the already long list of items that are riding on David Beckham’s looks. Even though he sounds a little wimpy, one cannot help but admire the man’s global appeal. Motorola and Beckham have already agreed to a 3-year deal that is worth more money than necessary. If England takes home the World Cup this time round, expect Motorola to exploit that event until Beckham hangs up his boots. It is not all capitalism though, as Beckham’s soft spot moved him to lend his name and image to promote the MOTO(RED) campaign that helps eliminate the AIDS epidemic in Africa.
