Asus unveils a couple of new phones

Asus is a company that is more famous for motherboards, video cards, and PDAs but will rarely ring a bell when it comes to cellphones. The new M310 and J208 phones are pretty much entry-level fare. The tri-band M310 comes in a clamshell format and offers a QVGA internal display, a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus, external music player controls, and a microSD card slot to store your photos and music. The J208 slider phone comes with a 2 megapixel camera and microSD card slot as well, but the internal display stands at just a miserly 220 x 176 pixels. Thankfully, the 64MB of internal flash memory is more than welcome.
