Sprint Nextel to roll 4G plans

Sprint Nextel will decide on their 4G plans within the next few months. This comes after the confirmation that their plans for the $4 billion nationwide 2.5GHz spectrum holdings they own will be made public soon. 4G provides users with hi-quality streaming audio and video, taking it a notch higher over current 3G videos that are choppy at best. So far, the company has been conducting a few technology trials, including WiMAX, UMTS TD-CDMA and Flash-OFDM solutions over its 2.5GHz spectrum.
