LG duo slide phone SD 910

LG comes out with a dual slider phone that is 3G and video capable. Other “lower-end” features such as MP3 are also present. The concept is simple: Slide the keyboard down to talk and slide the display up to watch video. While I don’t like the look of the SD 910, I think that the idea is rather good, assuming that I don’t need to slide the keyboard to watch TV. The 2″ LCD is probably too small to really enjoy video, but hey, it has to fit in a pocket. The basic strategy of Korean cellphones manufacturers is to try everything and anything possible and let the market decide what’s best. Some produce more than one hundred (!) new models per year. It might sound good for the consumer, but it is also very confusing because the market is literally flooded with cellphones.
