Sprint's EV-DO plans

Sprint plan to cover more than half of the U.S. population in the near future with its EVDO network. Implementing EV-DO Revision A technology will also happen in the first quarter of 2007. With this upgrade, the upload speed will increase from 70-144 Kbps to 300-400 Kbps and the download speed will be 450-800 Kbps instead of the current 400-700. In the Q3 of 2007, Sprint hopes to expand the reach of its network to 220 Million users.
