Rumored Palm Treo 650 firmware update to support WiFi cards

A new firmware update for the Palm Treo 650 will enable the ageing smartphone to use Palm’s WiFi card if the rumors floating around were to be true. This major firmware update is expected to be released as soon as the Sprint Treo 700p is launched. Such a step will certainly go a long way in increasing the Treo 650’s longevity.
