Sharp 940SH Scored FCC Approval

After waiting for some recognition, the Sharp 904SH phone with VGA display has finally scored approval from the FCC. The 904SH will be carried exclusively by Vodafone in April. To recap, the clamshell phone has a VGA (480×640) display, 3.2-megapixel auto-focus camera with 2x optical zoom, miniSD slot and stereo speakers. A coupe of the phone’s highlights are its face recognition software and Motion Control Sensor. Though a Vodafone exclusive, FCC approval means that a commercialization might happen soon.
