More on Vodafone Face Recognition

Reported earlier, the Vodafone 904SH with face recognition. To delve a little deeper, the face recognition software is based on OKI’s Face Sensing Engine. Using the camera, the phone ‘recognizes’ by sensing the position of eyes, eyebrows, mouth and other facial features and matches it to a pre-registered face. Be warned though that dark lighting conditions of backlights may interfere with the Face Recognition function. If that happens, the face and secret question will appear on screen and you need to input the answer to access the phone.
