DoCoMo Tests 4G Speeds

DoCoMo announced a 2.5Gbps download speed on their 4G test network while traveling at 20kmh speed. They have not HSDPA or any upgraded 3G choosing to head the pack by developing the 4G network. Its system uses modified standards proposed by the International Telecom Union (ITU), which improves upon transmission speed. It uses 6 simultaneous transmissions with 6 antennas and an advanced encoding algorithm to achieve this high data rate.
